Why does Spongebob Squarepants appeal to you?

Ok why does SB appeal to you? What do you love about him and the show all together? I feel that it is a kids show but yet has an adult spin on it as well. I like watching it because the cartoon appeals to me because it is so bright and colorful. I also think that I can personally relate to many of the characters.

SpongeBob is great because it's just a funny show... all the characters are awesome
doesn't quite appeal to me now as much as the first 3 seasons... but I'll always be a big fan :)
